It's a phone! It's a browser! It's a wallet?

Will your cellphone soon become a proxy for your credit card?

I'm actually not surprised that someone came up with an idea like this. It seems like as time goes on, people are finding quicker and easier ways to pay for things. Money is becoming more and more obsolete because people would much rather pull out their credit cards and pay later. The same is true with online purchases, where it would be much easier to enter a mobile number instead of having to pull out the credit card or memorize the number. Also, it probably makes people feel better about the purchase when they aren't giving away something as personal as a credit card number.
