Kanye and Taylor

So, we talked a little about this in class the other day, but what is everyones reactions to Kanye's outburst at the VMA's on Sunday night? Also, how big of a part does the media play in this situation?
I think that the media is having the greatest week because of his actions. I know that the clip of Taylor's first acceptance speech was on youtube in a matter of minutes and I find it interesting how fast the digital world is and how it can really effect. In the article, Kayne talks about how he was sad because of his mother's death a few years ago and that is why he acted the way he did. It seems like he is just making some excuses.

Here is the article:

So... I'm pretty sure this story is getting to the point of "drop it and move on". However, this years VMAs will be remembered over the years because of Kanye's stupidity. The media plays a huge role in this just by the numerous replays of the clip. Youtube has it ranked as top clip to watch and the radio is still talking about it. It's in the magazines as well. The media has found a hot topic and is taking advantage the viewer's curiousity.

I wasnt even watching the VMAs Sunday night but I was on facebook and everyone's status kept talking about Kanye And Taylor Swift so I was like What in the world is going on?? I immediately went to YouTube and there it was Kanye interrupting Taylor during her acceptance speech. Of course he was in the wrong for what he did but it was the VMAs not the BET awards! So what would you expect kanye?

It is amazing how quickly a story like this hits the net now. I mean, it was very rude and amazing to watch. However, for the past week it is all everyone has been talking about. I think it says a lot not only about how the media effects society, but what the public is interested in.

Kanye has officially been disowned by the world. This is absolutely outrageous. We have to write some new laws that can allow us to put him in jail for being a total D-bag in public too many times. He just never learns. Somebody needs to teach him a lesson the hard way while we all just look the other way.

What he did was totally out of line. Beyonce showed true class with her actions. I think the worst part of all of this was all the attention Kanye got from it. The media took this and ran with it and like Kayla said people really just needed to drop it before he gets anymore undeserved publicity.
