According to Dwight, he has had an incredible number of fouls called on him. The referees are relentless. The series against Charlotte was the last straw, and he apparently just had to let it all out- by blogging. Thanks to Dwight, the NBA is reaping the profit from the massive $35,000 fine.

Nah, the fine aint that big. Dwight Howard is a professional athlete, therefore it's his responsibility to play the game and maintain a healthy public image. When he complains about being fouled too much, he is disrespecting the officials and the sport itself. He should keep his complainy-pants attitude on the court. Its all part of the game. And $35000??? He's able to pull that kind of dough out of his purse like it's nothing, seein how he pulls in about 5 mil a year.
Yea... 35,000$ isn't even going to put a dent in his bank account... thats not a huge fine at all...
but I do think that that is a little ridiculous that they are fining him because of what he wrote on his blog...
I think it would be different if he said it all to their face...
They don't have to look at that blog if they don't want to... They don't have to read what he wrote...
I'd be pissed too if I were him and at least he took his anger on the court off of the court... I think in a way that is more respecting to the game...
