The Wait is Over

Finally, Twilight Fans can breathe now that New Moon premiered on Friday November 20th. After the millions of people could stop Gasping at Taylor Lautners abs, everyone could pay attention to the actual movies.

"New Moon correlated with the book by telling the story of why Edward left Bella because he feared for her life with Vampires. Unless you are have read the books, you might be lost as what is going on with the movie. The camera angles and effects were a little too complicated and took away from the story. The exception to that is when Bella is depressed was told well with a 360° view of her and the window outside changing as time went on. "

In comparison to the first film, New Moon is definitely a step up. When watching Twilight, it's easy to see the effects of a super low budget through the special effects and some of the acting. With more money available, I have to say that New Moon was definitely an improvement. While the acting may still not be up to par by some characters and the special effects may still be a little interesting, it's definitely a step in a better direction.

I am not really interested to see the new one at all. I recently saw the first one for the first time. I thought it was a terrible movie. The plot was weak and the acting was terrible. What explains the success of these movies? It seems we have a generation of fan girls. Mediocre things become shot up into super star ranking. Another prime example of this is Justin Bieber. A mediocre singer is now a super star because of his appeal to his age group. It is the same with Twilight. Sex sells.

it might be a step up but it is still crap. these are just not good movies. the 4th book is so sick and twisted i really want to see how they portray it on screen.

The fan base is there, these movies are going to be a hit regardless of the quality of filming. However, the 360 view was done exceptionally well. I think the twilight saga will see much continued success in the future.

how is it possible that twilight is the hit success that it is? i agree with the comment that sex sells, but i think thats just a small part of it. i think the biggest thing is how places like fast food restaurants are promoting and advertising this crap to so many young kids that it becomes hard for them not to wana watch it. i watched the first one, and it was a pile of steaming, hot garbage
